In Xiang Qi game ,there
will be some pieces (own pieces) which are in bad positions .For example
,blocking the passageways of another pieces ,'blocking horse leg' ,'blocking
elephant eye' or blocking the passageway of the king .In the nutshell ,this
piece minimize the effective of the other pieces .In this case ,by using
check ,threaten to mate ,sacrifice or attack tactic ,the dummy piece can
be moved away without losing any tempo .This kind of tactic is called 'teng
nuo' .
